Process

  • We chat at the beginning of your session to understand your goals and review the wardrobe options you’ve selected.

  • We select background options and lighting styles to suit your needs, skin tone and wardrobe.

  • We review as we go along and fine-tune poses, angles and lights to bring out the best photographs/ filming for you.

  • We will email you preview gallery of edited images/ filmed takes. You choose your favourites to be retouched, sound processed and colour graded.

FAQS


I need an actor’s headshot, is that different to a portrait?

Whilst we use the word portraits as it’s more open, we will ask what you will be using the images for and adapt our lighting to give you the images that work best for casting agents and other needs.

What should I wear?

Please bring a few clothing options, 4-5 ideally.

We suggest at least one simple t-shirt or top without any distracting patterns (black, white, grey or brown to compliment your skin tone).

Try to find neutral colours that compliment your eye colour, skin tone and hair. It’s good to have an option of lighter and darker tops to change into and different textures to work with.

At the studio we have a small changing room. On outside sessions, we can also jump into a coffee shop quickly for a change as well as there’s plenty in Shoreditch.

What should I bring?

Please bring any make-up and styling products to touch up your appearance between looks. We recommend that you bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated as well.

How else should I get ready?

We would recommend plenty of sleep and hydration for the week leading up to the session and be kind to your hair. Please avoid greasy or heavy foods as well for the days before the session.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens and we always try to be flexible. We can try move your session to the next available day that also suits you.

Can I request more edits?

We can retouch extra images upon request. Please get in touch with your needs for a custom quote.
